CI Parkhomes - Double Wide Units
The CI Parkhome Double Wide units are perfect when you need a bit more space than you would get from a single wide unit. The double wide range of buildings consists out of two single wide buildings sited side by side to allow for double the floor area of a single wide. These buildings are often used for classrooms, residential buildings and open plan offices. Due to the width of the buildings the two sections are pre manufactured, transported and then joined and waterproofed on site.
The buildings consist of a prefabricated robust steel chassis and modular factory manufactured components including floors, walls, doors, windows and roof structure. Engineer's certificates are available on request. Other non factory manufactured components are sourced from reputable suppliers and are strictly procured according to approved specifications. The finish of the units allows for very little maintenance and our care to details goes as far as ensuring that units are provided with a step that has a handrail or an access ramp for the disabled.
All modular units side walls are constructed from 40mm polyurethane panels with chromadek on the outside and chromadek white or chromadek woodgrain finish on the inside. Double wide units have vaulted ceilings which creates greater volume on the inside. This extra volume makes the unit cooler due to the greater airflow.
When moving the units you need to disconnect the water and electricity supply, our siting crew can then split the unit, transport it to the new site and assemble the unit again.
