Kwikspace Modular Buildings is the leading supply of modular and mobile buildings in South Africa and is currently a significant supplier to the provincial education departments, having delivered over 1400 classrooms and built 10 complete schools in 4 months.
Our Modular buildings are supplied either as complete mobile buildings (delivered on a truck) or as components that are assembled on site. We offer both solutions.
Where we have built the complete schools we have provided every facet making use of contractors from local communities. This includes furniture (fixed and moveable), equipment (kitchen, lab equipment), sewerage systems, fencing, paving, drinking fountain, playground equipment, landscaping but to name but a few.
The main buildings component is the wall structure that is a 40mm panel consisting of chromodek (pre-painted steel) and a polyurethane core. Polyurethane is the best commercially available material for insulation. It has good thermal insulating properties, low moisture-vapour permeability, high resistance to water absorption, relatively high mechanical strength and low density. This provides students with an environmental friendly classroom for all seasons.
