KWIKSPACE GOLF DAY 2010

Kwikspace held its Annual Charity Golf Day on the 29th October 2010 at the Benoni Country Club.

Kwikspace invited all their suppliers to make a valuable contribution towards our chosen Charity, namely the "Sibonile School for the deaf and blind". Funds and gifts were sponsored and contributed in making the day a great success. The proceeds of the Golf day was used to purchase Braille Machines. A necessity that Sibonile requires in order for students to perform to the best of their ability. Kwikspace also donated a modular unit classroom to the school.

Sibonile which means "we have seen" is a school for the blind established in 1995 and was formally known as Sybrandt Van Niekerk Skool. The school caters for the education of totally blind, partially sighted and deafblind learners. At present the school roll is standing at 170 learners and 51 staff members which comprises of 20 educators and 31 supporting staff members. Sibonile School for the deaf and blind is a Non Profit Organization registered with Department of Social Development, NPO Registration Number: 004 664

Kwikspace was presented with a beautiful handmade candle that the students made themselves. Receiving this hand crafted gift was worth all the hard work and effort that went into planning the golf day.
