PORTACAMP - Double Storey
Portacamp is a pre-engineered solution to specific need or requirement of a client. The buildings are site erected. All components are pre manufactured and erected on a concrete or suspended floor after being shipped to site in a kit form.
The Portacamp concept is ideally suitable for erection in remote areas where Parkhomes could not be delivered either due to transport cost consideration or the practicality of transport. These buildings could also be designed and erected to suit specific needs and cater for various types of applications under one roof. The advantage is that the size of the building is not as restricted as a Parkhome. The speed of which the factory manufactured components could be erected into a complete building is also much faster than that of a typical brick and mortar building.
These buildings could be dismantled and relocated but not with ease and at a higher cost compared to a Parkhome. These buildings are thus deemed of a more permanent nature. By making use of a structural steel frame and engineered components the buildings are aligned to the national building regulations and engineers certificates are provided after commissioning. The advantage of the purpose built structural steel also allows for multi storey buildings.
The selling point of the Portacamp is that you can erect the building in different sizes from single storey to double storey. The Portacamp is used for large offices that require open plan spaces, clinics, construction site offices, schools etc.
