Four libraries, four communities, built in four months – this is when government chooses efficient partners for service delivery.

Bantu Bonke (Midvaal Local Municipality), Kwazenzele (Lesedi Municipality), Munsieville (Mogale City Municipality) and Smokedown (Mogale City Municipality) are communities that struggled without proper library facilities.

Through our partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Government of Arts and Culture, we were able to respond to this need. These communities now have a chance to enhance their knowledge using well-equipped library facilities that cater for 1 000 to 3 500 people, including school leaners. We feel honoured to have played a role that adds value to these communities.

Throughout the implementation of these projects, a total of 45 much-needed jobs were created while upskilling some labourers with concrete-works, paving, bricklaying and fencing skills. We trust that these community members now have a gateway to a brighter future for themselves and their children.
