Kwikspace’s versatility in production has enabled it to develop a cannabis processing plant to spec using its standard product offering. Subsequent to fulfilling this niche space requirement, the modular building specialists received quotation requests from two of Africa’s leading marijuana producers.
“All businesses from any industry can send pre-designed and pre-planned drawings of their requirements and we will develop the concept in consultation with them,” says Gerry De Beer, Kwikspace Senior Accounts Manager. “There are also influencing factors for each project that determine a units’ design from project to project, and Kwikspace is well-positioned to accommodate these factors.”
Kwikspace solutions are particularly good for use in emerging industries due to cost-effective, modular and rapidly supplied systems. Kwikspace boasts the largest rental fleet of relocatable units in Africa, and has a rental offering for all its building solutions. In addition to the range of standard products, the company’s sales division offers customised solutions. “Our doors are open to all clients and industries – the Kwikspace offering, coupled with service excellence, is appealing to many industries across Africa,” says De Beer.
Kwikspace modular building solutions range from ablution blocks and guardhouses to storage facilities, standard offices and processing plants, all of which are designed according to client specifications.
“The cannabis market is growing and is an exciting space for Kwikspace to establish its brand,” De Beer concludes. “We are very positive about the new business opportunities this industry will bring to the table.”
Kwikspace expects to be involved in at least another six cannabis-related projects over the next several months.
