Kwikspace, Africa’s largest supplier of prefabricated buildings, recently supplied St. Michaels Primary School in Grabouw with a new storage unit measuring 2.4 m x 2.4 m and a 7 m x 7 m classroom.
The project took four weeks to complete with Kwikspace acquiring the services of a third party for transportation and the installation of the units. The classroom, which will serve as a space for the school’s new grade Rs, features a veranda and can accommodate up to 30 learners.
The units were purchased by the Molteno Brothers Trust, which works to support cultural institutions, education, and environmental causes in southern Africa. The trust was founded in 1969 and has been dedicated to improving the lives of people in Grabouw since its formation. The organisation has worked with Kwikspace in the past to supply units to St. Michaels School.
Kwikspace’s work with the Molteno Brothers Trust is a continuation of their mission to provide customers with professional solutions that are safe and of the highest quality.
“The school is very happy with the units, and we are proud to have been able help provide a safe and dignified place to learn”, said Kwikspace Account Manager, Jean-Paul Heyns.
