The supply of rented accommodation and ablution units by Kwikspace has enabled construction company, Mpiloshkins Projects, to cost-effectively accommodate the Department of Agriculture’s personnel on-site, while it carries out renovations to the Department’s buildings.
Having won the tender to carry out renovations for the Department of Agriculture’s buildings in Hluhluwe, KZN, Mpiloshkins Projects sought to provide accommodation for the Department’s personnel, for the six-month expected duration of the renovations. “Kwikspace delivered high quality rented units to the site, so the Department workers will be comfortable while their building is being refurbished. In addition, they will enjoy the convenience of remaining on the same property, instead of being accommodated elsewhere,” explains Lungile Nyawose, Account Manager, Kwikspace. A six-month rental of Kwikspace units is more cost effective than that of brick-and-mortar accommodation, says Nyawose.
The customer was supplied with a 12 m x 3 m bedroom unit; a 6 m x 3 m toilet unit, comprising male and female toilets as well as wash basins; and a 6 m x 3 m shower unit comprising wash basins as well as male and female showers. All come equipped with lights, plug points and an electrical COC.
With a large rental fleet, Kwikspace has the capability to deliver rental units throughout southern Africa, within 14 working days. It delivered the units to the Department of Agriculture in April, and will collect these in October, when the rental contract lapses. “When renting from Kwikspace, there is always an option to extend the lease. Most construction projects run longer than planned, so it’s useful for our customers to be able to extend their rental contract as needed,” concludes Nyawose, reiterating the benefits of Kwikspace’s offering.
Kwikspace is Africa’s largest supplier of prefabricated mobile buildings.
